Blog 3 by Madison Klump

On September 19th, we had to read chapters 3 and chapters 4 of Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut. In our groups we had a role to do. My role this week which is week five was discussion director. For discussion director you had to come up with at least two questions to talk about. I have three questions. My questions were Why does he keep saying bobbing up-and-down so much? And so was he part of the German army or the people that were taken prisoners? And so is he saying that every time that he goes back to the war that's when he travels through time and is being abducted? In my group we also talked about how he went to the doctor and the doctor told him to take a nap every day so he would start crying. We also talked about how his wife is dead, how no one likes him on the train, about how he's time traveling, and how he was in the army.

My connection to question five is to The holocaust museum. That's my connection because he talks about piles of dead bodies and how their foot are blue and Ivory and in the holocaust they piled up bodies and piled up their shoes.
