Blog Post Journal- Madison Klump
In class last week we had to read the rest of the book “Things Fall Apart”. In our literature circles we each had a role to do. My role for last week was discussion director. For discussion director I had to come up with a couple questions to discuss in my literature circle. I had three questions. My questions were “Why do they call the rain ‘the nuts of the water of heaven”? My second question was “Who is Nwoye and what’s going on with him”? My last question was “What do they mean iron horse”?
My connection to “Things Fall Apart” was to the part were they were excited that it was finally raining. They were excited and happy because the land was very dry and the crops really needed some water. I made a connection to this because my family farms and I understand how someone could get so excited and happy that it was finally raining.
